Quranic Duas & Wazaif

"I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created."

Sahih Muslim

In-Depth Explanation

The evil eye (nazar) is real. Both the Quran and the Hadith confirm this. It comes from someone's envy or amazement, and it can harm the person's health, income, home, and happiness.

The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The evil eye is real, and if anything could overtake destiny, it would be the evil eye.' (Sahih Muslim 2188). So both protection and treatment are important.

Our ruqyah is done fully according to the Quran and Sunnah — using Surah Al-Fatihah, the Mu'awwidhatayn, and authentic Sunnah duas.

Proof from the Quran

Allah's own words on this matter, with scholarly explanation.

"And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the message."

Surah Al-Qalam 68:51

Explanation: According to the scholars of tafsir (such as Ibn Kathir), this verse proves the reality and the strong effect of the evil eye.

"Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, and from the evil of an envier when he envies."

Surah Al-Falaq 113:1-5

Explanation: In Surah Al-Falaq, Allah commands us to seek refuge from the envious person — and envy is the real source of the evil eye.

Proof from Authentic Hadith

Narrations from the Prophet ﷺ on this subject.

"The evil eye is real, and if anything were to overtake the decree, it would be the evil eye."

Sahih Muslim 2188

Explanation: The Prophet ﷺ clearly announced that the evil eye is real and very powerful.

"Seek refuge in Allah, for the evil eye is real."

Sunan Ibn Majah 3508 — Sahih

Explanation: This hadith specifically tells us to seek Allah's protection from the evil eye.
