Quranic Duas & Wazaif
"I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His wrath and punishment."
— Sunan at-Tirmidhi
In-Depth Explanation
Bad dreams come from Shaytan. The Prophet ﷺ taught a complete solution — not just to bear them, but to follow specific actions.
Often nightmares are linked to the evil eye, jinn influence, or weak adhkar. Quranic ruqyah and Sunnah practices remove them completely.
Proof from the Quran
Allah's own words on this matter, with scholarly explanation.
"It is He who takes your souls by night."
— Surah Al-An'am 6:60
"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die during their sleep."
— Surah Az-Zumar 39:42
Proof from Authentic Hadith
Narrations from the Prophet ﷺ on this subject.
"Good dreams are from Allah and bad dreams are from Shaytan. When one of you has a bad dream, let him spit lightly to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from its evil — it will not harm him."
— Sahih Al-Bukhari 6995
"When one of you goes to bed, let him dust off his bed... and say the dua of sleeping."
— Sahih Al-Bukhari 6320
