Black magic (sihr) is mentioned in the Quran as a form of minor shirk and a major sin. It is real and it damages a person's health, relationships, and income.
Even the Prophet ﷺ was affected by the magic of Labid bin A'sam, and Allah revealed the Mu'awwidhatayn through which it was undone (Bukhari 5763). So the Quran itself is the cure for magic.
We only do Quranic ruqyah — no counter-magic, no amulets, no 'aamil' style practices. Those things are shirk and we are completely free of them.

"They followed what the devils had recited during the reign of Sulayman. Sulayman did not disbelieve, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic."
