Do I have to stop seeing doctors?

Absolutely not. Spiritual treatment complements medical care, it doesn't replace it. We always advise clients to continue their prescribed medications and medical follow-ups. The Prophet (peace be upon him) himself instructed his ummah to seek both medical and spiritual cures.

Will the jinn or sihr come back after treatment?

Once removed by Allah's permission, the condition typically doesn't return — provided the person maintains the daily protection adhkar Sheikh teaches: morning/evening duas, Ayatul Kursi, the last 3 Surahs, and regular salah. Protection is ongoing, like brushing teeth daily.

Can ruqyah be done for someone without their knowledge?

Yes. Many treatments are performed on children or family members who can't actively participate. The client (parent/spouse) provides details, and Sheikh recites ruqyah over recorded audio or water that is then given to the patient.

What's the difference between you and 'aamils' or 'peers' who use taweez?

Accepted Answer

Many self-proclaimed healers use shirk — calling on jinn, writing magic squares, demanding strange rituals. This is haram and worsens the spiritual harm. Sheikh Abdul Basit uses only Quran, authentic duas, and Sunnah methods — nothing else. If you see ANY shirk, run away.

Do I need to fast or do special things before treatment?

Not always. Sheikh may recommend wudu before sessions, avoiding music for a period, and consistent salah. For some cases, a 3-day light fast or specific dhikr program is prescribed — but only what is from Quran and Sunnah.
